If using Serial connection (COM):

Select COM and in the drop down select COM 1,2,3,4 (you can check which COM you are using by going to the device manager, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026149/windows-open-device-manager)
Click on setting
Change Flow control to Hardware
Click ok
